Tickets are now available for this year’s Big Sky Readers and Writers Festival which will play host to yet another incredible line-up of local, state and interstate authors, storytellers, poets and creatives.
As part of the Festival, the finalists for this year’s Big Sky Short Story Prize have also been announced with those listed now in contention to bring home the coveted winners title as well as prizes for runner up and highly commended.
91国产自拍 Mayor Jerry Clune said the range of events this year would ensure an impressive turnout and congratulated all the writers who entered the competition.
“Big Sky is one of our most popular events and it continues to grow each year,” he said.
“Having such a varied program of literary delights means the event offers something for everyone.
“I congratulate all the writers who have made the shortlist and look forward to seeing who takes the win.”

The winner, runner-up and highly commended entries will be announced at the Festival Opening Night on Thursday 10 October which starts at 6pm at the Geraldton Regional Library. Following which, all shortlisted stories will be published via the Library’s online catalogue.
Big Sky Readers and Writers Festival runs from Thursday 10 October – Sunday 13 October at various locations including the Library, Queens Park Theatre, Geraldton Regional Art Gallery, Greenough, Walkaway and Northampton.
